We are seeking a skilled and innovative Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and implementing user interface components using modern web technologies. You will collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver high-quality web applications that offer an exceptional user experience.

Responsibilities

As a Frontend Engineer, you will:

  1. Develop and maintain user interfaces by designing and implementing responsive, interactive UI components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and product managers, to translate design mockups and wireframes into functional front-end code.
  3. Optimize application performance by ensuring web applications are fast and scalable, applying best practices for performance and efficiency.
  4. Debug and troubleshoot front-end issues and bugs promptly to ensure a seamless user experience across different devices and browsers.
  5. Stay updated with industry trends by continuously learning and adopting new technologies and practices to improve development processes and interface design.
  6. Implement testing and quality assurance by writing unit and integration tests using frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress to ensure code quality and maintainability.

Qualifications

Education

  1. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience

  1. Proven experience as a Frontend Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of web development projects.

Technical Skills

  1. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  2. Experience with JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  3. Familiarity with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
  4. Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
  5. Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.

Soft Skills

  1. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  2. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  3. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience with CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
  2. Knowledge of build tools such as Webpack, Grunt, or Gulp.
  3. Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
  4. Experience with TypeScript.
  5. Understanding of SEO principles and the ability to ensure applications comply with them.
